Good luck on your search. This bike was pretty much a 1 year build. The bike was awesome with some light motor work and some suspension upgrades.

If you are still looking for a pipe for the 87 kx250 I have a beat up stock and a Pro Circuit Pipe and a spark arrester,
I have other parts also.

holy shit a NOS pipe. $450 is probably a bit rich for this project - I'm not doing a full on resto, just getting it in good condition for vintage racing then sell to someone who may want to restore it proper.

I understand. I’m a little annul about my builds, so I go the distance but I understand either way. Your wanting a good pipe, not a new one.

I restored my 2007 KX250 and spent over $5,000 doing so. Also restored a 1989 KX125 again spending a small fortune. My 87 250 is not getting the same treatment LOL.

Also just discovered the PO managed to crack one of the sprocket ears on the hub. Working on redneckified bikes is NEVER not an adventure! lol
