YZ 125 Exhaust and Triple Clamps!

We are freshening up our 09 YZ125. Engine work is done by Bobby Barr, going to try a Lectron carb this time. I am looking at some other parts to change. The bike currently has the full FMF system on it but I have heard mentioned a few places how good the new Pro Circuit combo RV is running on the YZ is, any real life experience with the two?

Also, we have had good luck with the Neken SFS triples on some of our bikes and I am thinking of upgrading this bike as well. Thinking of trying Xtrigs on this bike though. Anyone with Xtrigs or Neken YZ125 experience?

If you are having Bobby Barr do the engine work, I would go with his recommendation for exhaust.

With regard to triple clamps, is there a specific problem you are trying to solve? Are you looking to change offsets, want a stiffer or looser "feel", slower or faster turning? They will all hold your forks in place properly.

It is a show bike that we are building for two reasons, first it will be a demo bike that we would like to promote the products we carry/install and our suspension. Also have a super fast Vet rider that would like to race it as an exhibition and throw a little glory back to the two stroke days! Just a fun project!!

Yeah I would like to see a pipe also. Along with vforce, rad valve, ignition Test on a stock cylinder. I like to bolt on 1st . Then tell the turner pipe and Rv added snap off bottom with wider mid with better top. Add more upper mid, need it quick on the pipe, etc. a pipe test including Scalvini , PC and HGS would be great.Smile

I (wife) actually got a set of Luxon clamps for the yz125 and really could not believe the difference the 22mm offset made in the cornering. Doesn't want to climb out of berms and finally corners like it should. I'm no test rider and most mods I can hardly tell any difference from stock but 3mm difference in offset has made a believer out of me!
