Kawasaki Team mates AC & Eli

Eli will probably put AC in the dirt if he has to and I wouldn't blame him given how tight the current points are.

That's saying AC is even up there to begin with. There's plenty of other riders looking to get involved.

90% chance AC told kawi he wants nothing to do with tactics. I would bet if he moves for eli, he moves for ken

To hell with team orders. AC is out to do his best/win. Pulling over is bullshit. Kawi doesn't like it..AC will have no trouble finding a team that will pick him up.

AC will do what's best for the team. AC is next in line to take over the #1 spot once Tomac retires.

He may also need help later in his career.

The weight is on Tomac and I'm almost expecting him to have a real bad race in this first one.
Just like Savatgy did? What did he get out of “helping the team?” Normally I would say absolutely you should. In this case Kawi gave zero F’s about Savatgy. Also Tomac handled that really well. The guy gives you a million bucks when he could of beat you and it would of been 100k. Tomac didn’t even thank Joey. AC has ZERO reason to help.

I qoute you - AC has ZERO reason to help!

A couple of questions directed to you Sir..

1 Why are Kawasaki spending millions per
year chasing championships?

2. Who pays Adam's base salary and
bonuses?

3. Are you enjoying the bench racing?

You are referring to the MEC right? A one off Million dollar race...

This is the SX Championship we talking about here....

I wonder if savatgy reaches out to AC to offer his opinion on handing eli a win.
Considering how much he whined about that race and Eli, he probably has already reached out to Adam, as well as everyone else in the paddock just to make sure they know that the FMOTP took advantage of him.
ET3 isn't going to need team tactics to wrap this one up.

Its pretty simple Adam can win and it does not matter to Eli in points it only matters if he finishes between Ken and Eli in that order. Yes there is a 3 point gain if Adam was to let Eli by for a win but this is only needed if Eli is down on points to Ken.

AC is going to ride his own race for the next 5 rounds is my best guess. Then in the last 2 rounds he avoids getting into the fray as much as possible. The bigger threat/challenger/unknown in this is Webb, not AC.
Fair point. I think Webb wants Tomac to not win more than he wants Kenny to not win. Probably believes Tomac is the bigger threat if he gets a championship and momentum heading outdoors and next SX season.

Just finished reading the interview with AC on the Racer X website and the question was brought up about being friends with Ken and being Eli's teammate.

AC basically said it's up to them and he's focusing on trying to win and to do the best for himself.

The crux of the matter is that Kawasaki's primary goal is the Championship.

I have a feeling that behind closed doors in the Kawa Semi there will be a different script.

At this point in the season the points race is tight and I can't see Kawa allowing AC to take points off Eli. I think going into SLC and I'm guessing....speculating here that the script will be written in Eli's favour.

Can't wait to see how this plays out. Adam will race Ken but I can see him having to abide to the "Let Eli Bye" deal.

What do you guys think?

I think they all understand what is at stake without discussing anything. Duh...

Kawi paid Savatgy’s salary, after a great season they still kicked him to the curb without hesitation. Now I wonder why they would do that? Oh yeah AC. The new hot thing that came in and has race winning speed already. I’ll say it again, you won’t see Adam pull over. Especially when he himself can win 100k winning races.

To be fair, they didn't exactly kick him to the curb. He was a seat warmer and he knew that from day 1.

I would not be surprised to see Webb capitalize on this whole scenario and some how magically make is way back in to the points chase.

However, back on topic.. AC will race his own race and regardless try and win. cant see it in his personality to let some one by.

I agree, I think the likes of Webb, Barcia will capitalize on the title race chase.

But I think AC will want to win a race and stay out of it all, however I think Kawi will be calling all the shots behind the scenes. Anyone think Honda will draft some 250 guys up to help Kenny out?

Unless, of course, your level of talent gives you options - as is the case with AC. As someone who used to employ several very talented people, I can tell you that you come to them with an admitted understanding that they are going to be expensive, and also acknowledging to them, upfront, that you know it's up to YOU, THEIR EMPLOYER, to instill, and maintain, loyalty in them.

Otherwise, like a bird, off they go, pursuing a better option.

Eli doesn't have to worry about beating AC he only has to worry about finishing in front od KR and Webb that's it

That’s my point. He did them a massive solid, and with AC were in a different game. I don’t see the let Tomac by on AC’s board.

From the Team manager right up to the Japanese dude behind the big desk will swop them.

Its going to be interesting as someone above mentioned Webb. What ever happens I think we gonna be in for a treat.
In the next 5 rounds? No, I do not. Come the last 2 rounds, all bets are off. But my bet would be AC will not let it get to that point. He's a very cerebral rider.

Someone above was correct, AC planted himself again. Bummer and I think he needs to be patient an not cross that comfort zone when trying to run Eli's pace.

Ac's turn will come. Eli knows what he needs to be, only a real bad race will derail his current form. Webb is solid and needs a bad finish from Tomac to get back in it.

Regardsless, whoever will the Championship will be the one who made he most of each race under theres adverse conditions.

I really feel bad for Anderson though.

Neverthess, we back to racing and the couchmunchers are in the element.

Stay safe to all ya.
