Looking to give my yz more trick/factory style points. I remember there was a company making flush mount billet gas caps (you would cut the tank threads off and bolt/epoxy the new cap/threads in). Figured I’d look into this option before going the legacy Carbon tank route cuz those look rad.

Anyone remember the company or know who makes something similar?

Yep that’s what I was looking for. Super trick as they described in the article. Figured a $100 gas cap would up the factory/cool points enough for me. Might just have to go the carbon route.

Someone here has to have an idea where this can be done.
I emailed MXA they said they will reach out but then I never heard back.

Better get up to Glen Helen sat REM. Ask some questions. Inventors roam the area.

The company is Blonix. I bought a flush mount cap for my 05 KX 250, but the guy was very hesitant to sell me one...he said too many people had leaking issues, and he quit production. Anyway, you might still have a chance at one if you contact them...I forget his name, but he's a good guy. Good luck.

Blonix is no longer, Now it is a new shop and goes under the name 'Barin Suspension' Really good guy and has helped me out with several projects of mine, located in San Jose CA. Best bet would be to reach out on instagram... no idea whether he makes those flush tank mounts anymore, but doesnt hurt to ask.
