Rm 125 power

Edited Date/Time 4/9/2020 5:54pm
I have a 2000 rm125. I bought the bike brand new. Sold it, and bought it back. The bike used to be all top end. It ripped pretty good. It now has a Fmf SST pipe with fmf shorty silencer, Boyesen power reeds, and has stock gearing. The bike has over 160psi of compression and runs well, it’s just gutless. The power doesn’t seem to carry into the high rpm. It signs off early. Is the exhaust/reeds killing my top end power?

Power valve working correctly?
Set correctly?
What does the spark plug look like?

I verified the correct Pv setting. I haven’t taken it apart to make sure everything is moving freely. The spark plug looks perfect.

The reeds aren't hurting anything, but I know the SST pipe on other bikes shifted the power around. The shorty silencer takes away some from the top end also. Is there carbon build up in the pipe? Did he mess with the ignition timing (stator)? Hows the compression? These are things to check

Has the squish been machined down and not compensated?
