Reed and Bubba wasn't this years story and everyone knows it despite the long drawn out but still dominant season by James via his fuckups.

I'll agree with you that it doesn't matter at all. They just need something to stay fired up about on here, something watching reruns of The Hills can't fulfill.
I realize Tiger Woods, Kobe Bryant, and about a million other elite professional athletes who make more money than Stewart can ever dream of virtually ALWAYS try to defend their titles, but after all, he is The Fastest Man on the Planet. The God of Moto Knowledge Ralph Shaheen said so. Now run along and play with the other James Fantasy League participants before he decides to go Nascar and becomes just another guy sitting in a car making left turns.
And then you can't ride like a top Pro, so you have no clue how hard it is on your body. If you tried to race two 35 minute moto's on a national type track you would want to die. You can't do it, so don't even talk about it be a job or not being a job. You don't know what you're talking about.
On top of all this, I see that you want to argue with GuyB. Doesn't sound like a smart thing to do. Well, after reading your post's, it's clear your not smart, so carry on stupid.
Oh, and for the record, I'd suggest that you guys might want to listen to UPS Man. I think it's possible he might know what he's talking about.
And thanks for the props, but not sure I'm a total Expert when it comes to Pro Motocross. I just watch a lot of racing and read every rider's interviews, so I try to get as much useful information and then I write about that. I do know the top riders train like madmen and they race even harder. The top riders have been racing and riding just after they started walking and Motocross puts many of sports to shame (even if many people don't know about motocross). I don't like it when people compare a normal job to the job of a Pro motocross rider. To watch the top riders race at that level and what I hear about their training schedule, there is nothing normal about it. I almost fell out of my chair when I see what a top pro goes through day after day and year after year. They are true Heroes.

I like Stewart and am a fan. As a racer myself I am in awe of his speed. As a lover of the sport for over 3 decades, he has lost mucho respect from me and one hell of a lot of others for making the decision he did to sign his supercross only contract.
Something else too. There are really a lot of people who apparently feel this way. I sure wish the people that don't would shut the hell up about trying to tell us we don't have the right to feel this way. We do. If his decision not to race is so "right" according to you, why are so many people shaking their heads about it? Could it be that our position has some validity that you are not willing to concede? Think about it.
Hey, I don't agree with the way kids are thrown into the sport at the age they
are, but that's a whole different issue.
Just because he's been a pro for 7 years doesn't mean the time before it
doesn't count towards burnout. Ask any kid that helped his Dad in his
landscape or plumbing business if he wants to mow a lawn or install a bathtub.
As far as speakin' yer piece sure, you and the rest of the guys telling him how to
live his life have a right.

James will NEVER be able to satisfy a certain percentage of "fans" on here( or anywhere else). Why that is, only the individual knows for sure. I have my ideas, though. I'm pretty sure he is only worried about making himself happy, at this point
I do agree there is some irony here, but not about the topic.
I fully understand the logic and reasoning, that doesn't make my FEELING or OPINION on the subject wrong. There is no such thing my friend.
I have only ever stated MY OPINION... and that is simply that the defending champion not racing is, for lack of a better term, RETARDED.
