They just postponed a fly away in Argentina with 10 days notice but we can’t give it a couple of weeks to see how this develops further? Maybe there’s no chance that these events can run. But does that decision need to be made 6 weeks in advance? Give yourself the best possible chance of running as many races as possible. Give it a chance, that’s all I’m saying
You have no idea what it takes to prepare a mxgp race. We are talking about months of preparations, booking of staffing, equipment, medical, food etc. 6 six weeks is last minute in these scenarios specially if you want to avoid force major discussions, and/or sitting with bills to pay.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: 2020 MXGP Calendar Update - MXGP of France, Indonesia & Asia!

Due to the global outbreak of the coronavirus, public safety of all involved has been put at the forefront which means certain events have been forced to be pushed back to a later date.

MXGP of France due to take place on the 9th/10th of May will now be moved to the end of June and will go ahead in St.Jean d’Angely on the 27th/28th of June. This change means that also the MXGP of Indonesia in Jakarta will now move from June to 31st October/1st November. Meanwhile the second round of the Indonesian trip will be held as the MXGP of Asia on November the 7th/8th, whose location will be announced shortly.

Just saw this. Wonder how this might affect MXoN participation in September if it's in the middle of the championship. Heck, it might be in the middle of the US Motocross championship at this point.

I'm cancelling my long planned trip to MXDN, France, UK and Europe from Australia.

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 18 March 2020 – Infront Moto Racing would like to inform that there have been further changes made to the 2020 MXGP racing calendar.

The MXGP of Italy, taking place at the legendary Maggiora circuit, will now be rescheduled from the 17th of May to the 5th of July. Alongside, the MXGP of Germany in Teutschenthal will move from the 24th of May to the 9th of August.

With the current pandemic of the coronavirus, these changes have been vital in order to ensure the health and safety of the staff, teams, riders and fans. Infront Moto Racing along with the FIM, FIM Europe and the local organisers are working hard in order to preserve the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar as much as possible.

The FIM Motocross World Championship is planning to return with the MXGP of Russia taking place at the impressive Orlyonok venue on the 7th of June 2020. We would like to thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
