Hey everyone.

I'm replacing my stock '18 yz250f handlebars and grips this weekend. I have figured out how to remove everything except the throttle. I know this is a stupid question, but how do I get the throttle off? I don't see any bolts to remove that would allow me to slide it off. I'm sure they are right there in front of me, but I'm not seeing them.

Thanks in advance!

From the underside of the throttle. Pull the rubber cover to the side, and there you have 2 bolts that hold the throttle in place.

Thank you!! I knew it had to be something simple! That will allow the entire throttle assembly to just slide off, right?

You're welcome mate, you will slide the throttle off once you undo the bolts.

When you install the throttle housing on the new bars make sure you do not get it slid all the way to the bar end or your throttle could hang in the open position.

Oh yeah, that's right. I remember reading that before. Thank you for the reminder. When I install the throttle housing, I will slide it all the way down, and then back it up a bit. That way I know for sure it is not all the way down.
