Chuck davies UK red rocket build......he's the guy who did the mcgrath pro circuit CR125 and the carmichael kx125 builds recently....here's what he said about this one.....

"After 4 years we finally got round to finishing off Dad’s ’79 Red Rocket. It’s pretty special; built with NOS Honda parts including Fuel Tank, Kickstart, gear lever etc. Fox Factory Forx, Fox Airshox, Fox Factory KLP Swingarm, Holly equip.Inc. Pipe and Silencer from Japan and too many other cool parts to list."

These sweet restyled suzukis make me second guess what I know is a good decision not to get one. They look sooo good

They do. I know, the part prices are insane on those bikes now. Im afraid to ride a new husky or KTM, im afraid it would ruin my idea of bikes i thought were awesome. I mean the others have been frozen in time.

I just updated my 08 RM and I’ll post pics soon!
For what it’s worth I sold my 19 ktm 250sx with cone valve forks and a host of other goodies because it honestly wasn’t as good as the 04-08 RM250 IMO. Heck I’ll take a 05-07 cr250 with some minor motor work over the ktm all day.! Don’t get me wrong the ktm is good but it is by no means head and shoulders better than any of the Japanese bikes.
So have no fear your thoughts on the oldies being awesome won’t be tarnished.!
