"Kit" always reminds me of this:

As a long time musician who did it for ten years early on as my sole source of income, I go nuts when I hear musicians now say they have a "show" coming up. A show? How exactly do you define a "show"? You and a couple garage band buddies doing a pickup gig at a shitty, hole in the wall, beer stained local bar is now a "show? lol!
