Are there any decent, somewhat affordable, health insurance deals out there that will cover MX injuries?

Heres the deal, I'm going to be graduating from college on the 16th with my BFA in Visual Communications. I'm currently under my parents insurance, but that will only last until the end of May since I'm done with school. I also have not lined up a job just yet (this next week I'm starting the hunt and making tons of portfolio books) so I won't be getting insurance from anything like that anytime soon either. Of course, even if I did have something lined up, there would most likely be that waiting period anyway.

This is killing me because I want to continue to ride and race so bad this year, especially after not being able to ride much at all this season due to an overwhelming couple final months of college. At the same time I don't even want to get on a bike without some type of coverage, so I'm willing to just pay for insurance for a while until I can find a job that has something for me.

Make sure to check for "hazardous activities" rider- a lot of policies specifically don't cover mx, rock climbing, SCUBA, etc.-- and agents usually won't point that out.

You better just get your resume out now. Times are pretty tough in the job market these days, especially marketing jobs.

Insurance is going to cost a fortune.

Check out www.duckmx.com

My buddy Lee Garland runs it, tell him Adam Sweeney told you to check it out, it's a pretty sweet deal, covers specifically MX and if you crash you get cash for it...go there

Thanks for pointing that out haha. Guess thats what happens when you rush things. Glad I haven't had time to apply for anything yet....
