Just looked and Kawi has a superceded part number for it so they adjusted something for a new cover. Maybe thicker or different material.

When I changed my springs and oil in the forks the caps were on very tight. Some of the green on the caps did wear off during the process.

yea you never want to loosen the top cap with the pinch bolts tightened. good way to crush the fork tubes.

Yeah pump it until it stops and you can blow air in one side to clean better.

So what is the overall consensus on gearing. I live at 6000 feet so I usually go up a tooth on the rear, but I hear good things on a 14 up front. Just looking for ideas, thanks.

And the adjuster do I tighten it until it gets snug then run the locknut up... I'm not sure how exactly to do this and keep them adjusted the same on both legs

Yeah. If you buy a service manual it has everything explained as well as torque values. I'll always buy one right away on a new bike.

The owners manual should give you the information for the front suspension you need for maintenance. The service manual is going to be more detailed.

Since the pivots of my foot pegs often got filled with dirt and were stuck in the tucked up position often, and there are currently no aftermarket peg armors available for the 2019, i went ahead and made my own. Would definitely look better if they were welded with a proper TIG welder (i used MIG), but i think they should do the job.

Those peg pivot covers look great. In a pinch use the Acerbis rubber pivot cover. They work great and are easily remove able for cleaning.
