Hey Jem. Any idea where Evan's might land if he's not with 114 next season?

Yeah I dunno about that He's a bigger dude and he definitely rides the 450 well but ya right he could be title contender in MX2

Hmm? I do think Bogers needs to be replaced , but have no idea how Evan's can ride a 450. And I thought I had heard that Vlaanderen brings quite a bit of sponsorship money with him , kind of securing that ride? Actually , is Calvin getting ready to age out here soon anyways?
He rode one here a couple of years ago and he was the only one to keep Ferris somewhat honest.. He was on one at Red Bud too

Interested to see how they lineup on the gate, Ferris can generally get great starts so maybe he takes one for the team and lets Webster and Duffy go the insides

U have to give your 250 rider the best gate pick.

Webster is already 23 too old for mx2 in Europe for next year or after with 114 unfortunately .

Yes Webster would need to step up to MXGP class if he was to go to GPs. I believe he did have interest from overseas already for MX2 but he’s aged out.

Duffy looked good when he was upfront in the second race. Looked aggressive and was catching the guys in front, but looked like he had a mishap soon after. But charged from like 27th to 11th after that, pretty good

The boys killed it. The qualifying races were a good indication of where they stand amongst there peers. We all know that come race day chaos seems to happen and it can be a lottery.

In any case i think MA and more to the point Byrner needs to be commended for the foresight to pick the mostly unknown (on the international scene anyways) youngsters. The WA boys definitely have the sand skills that compare to the best in europe and thats saying something.

I still say we should've sent a back up team Rottness Island of Louis Calvin, Dean Porter and Jeff Leisk. Top 5 all day Laughing Laughing

Fuckin how's the young Aussie talent right now. Crikey.

Still have the MXdN 3rd moto bug but they killed it. Showing speed in maiden races like that is huge.

“same same family holiday style “ What does that mean is it some sorta Aussie inside joke ? But agree having guys represent your country that are good in certain conditions is a bold but good choice.

For such a gnarly sand track it was a no brainer to pick our very best sand specialists but these kids can ride any surface and will def be factored into future teams I’m sure. Great rides boys 👍

Great showing for some unknown's from Australia. Bet that's no longer the case and I'm sure more than a few hands were shaken and people introduced.

Together with the Norwegians these young Aussies were the biggest surprise to me.

Rode their balls off, showed speed and determination and if it wasnt for some bad luck ,they would have carried Australia to a really good finish. All this with a limited budget, fairly standard bikes and hell of a long trip.

Very impressed

Yeah, they bolted on a pipe and brought suspension but other than that it was stock they said.

My son rode with Kyle Webster in the autos in UK before he moved to Oz, was a class act and a nice family, really pleased to see him do so well, maybe a GP ride now ?

Duffy went from 8th to 19th, to 24th, to 34th, and then back up into the top 15 to finish.

Finished in front of Ferris in the last race.

Pity Jed Beaton wasn't available. He would have relished those conditions.

I don’t think our team were weakened in any way shape or form with Webster and Duffy. Riding deep sand is tough, riding deep very wet sand is even tougher. These 2 boys are sand specialists and rode friggen awesome

I agree. I'm not sure what my point was lol.

Would have been nice to see what they could do in better conditions. I'll be keeping more of an eye on Duffy in the future that's for sure.

Duffy surely at 17 has raised some serious eyebrows. Big enough to handle the big bike on the world stage. Shame there’s not enough spots these days

Duffy has a huge future ahead of him but I was so impressed with Webster. His quickest lap time in the 250/Open race was quicker than a lot of the 450s including Duffy, not bad on a 250 I reckon. Hope he gets a GP ride coz I think he deserves a look-in

The worry is his age and luongos stupid rule. Webster was dealt cruel luck with that sink hole past his axles. Could of been the defining moment that race for all and sundry to see. Probably the people that count have seen his potential.

True but he’s no slouch on a 450 either. He has podiumed 3 years in a row at Manjimup.
