Stroke of Genius

I think I have the answer to make everyone involved with Motocross happy and end the 2 stroke vs 4 stroke vs electric debate. Let’s make the Nationals switch engine types each week. Round 1 would be 4 strokes, round 2 would be for 2 strokes, then back to 4 strokes etc. Eventually they could rotate the electric bikes in. They could crown a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke champion, and an overall champion. The manufacturers could sell more bikes. The teams might even hire 2 stroke or 4 stroke specialists which would create more jobs. The privateers could chose to race only 2 or 4 stroke thus making it easier on them by not having to make it to every round. We also wouldn’t have to worry about moto going silent. Think of the excitement and bench racing this would add.
