I have a 1978.5 RM 250. The bike is in great shape and I have it on display in my house.
I have had it out riding and it runs great with no issues .

My question is it has a leaking fork seal and wanted to know what kind of seals are the best to use?
Also what weight fork oil and level do you run as well as air pressure.

I want to get the bike back to the dirt for a little vintage fun for myself and the bike.

Thanks in advance

Thank you for the information. Do you know what weight fork oil to use and the levels or amount to use?

I ordered fork seals and dust covers from my local Suzuki dealer. Yes they are still in stock. Amazing!
I do not have a manual for this bike. Changing the fork seals is not a issue but I still have a question on what weight fork oil to use and how much do you recommend?

Thank you for your help and information.

Rebound is controlled mostly by the viscosity of the oil. If change the springs or add air increase the viscosity. Anybody over 200lbs should use 20w, 170-200 15w and less than 170 10w.

Oil height is dependent on terain. Moto I perf 6" from the top of the outer tube and woods 8" or just enough to cover the top of the oil cartridge.
