Is it possible that a dedicated 2 stroke US National Championship series would be successful and help the sport survive?

Someone like maybe Redbull or similar could get behind it and have events with racing and whatever other cool shit going on.

I think it would be epic. Run 85, 125/150, and 250/300. Make some new stars, sell some new bikes, make some new money. Everybody wins.

I don’t know if there’s been a thread like this, probably has. I just wrote this off the top of my head because I love the sport. Always have.

Opinions and ideas please guys.

When 2 strokes ruled there was a 4 stroke National Championship so who knows . I think that was just a single class though ? Don't remember.

Yeah I remember the old 4 stroke races. Ksi’s And those Yammys. Hallman reps i think they were.

They could use some great tracks that aren’t on the current schedule. Glen Helen for example.

I'd like to add to your idea, an open class. I don't mean just a 500 class, but a "run whatever size you want" class. Might be interesting seeing what size most riders would choose if there was no limit.

In the limited displacement classes, you could allow four strokes, but at half the displacement of the two strokes. ?

Original open bikes? What will they think of next! Haha! Here’s a thought include an electric class. Works bike exemption. No rules. Whoever ties the big manufacturers in with the first electric bike class is gonna own motocross racing in the future it would be safe to say.
It makes me want to come over and help to get the ball rolling.
