2018 ktm 350 sx-f, pump gas or race fuel

Just got a good deal on a leftover new 2018 350sx-f. Are these bikes ok to run on pump fuel(California) or should I be running t4 or some sort of mixture of race and pump. My son will be riding/racing this. He rides in the B class. I do plan on toykeo mods programming computer and a full FMF ti system. Thanks

It should run just fine on premium. If you want a cleaner gas and have no problem paying for it then go with race gas. Whichever you choose, make sure you verify your TPS voltage and have your ecu mapped for that gas.

Runs fine on both. I use So Cal pump 91 and T4 depending on what I have.

I suggest the maps from Twisted Development or if you can get a Vortex ecu with their maps they are much better then stock remapping.

I run premium SoCal pump 91 from Chevron in my '19 350sxf. No issues and everything looks clean. My friend is a reputable engine builder and said the Chevron ran the cleanest (of pump fuels) so I went with it. My TPS was fine from the factory as well. With the FI bikes I make sure to replace the inline fuel filter every 5 hours, be careful when refueling at the track not to get dust in the tank and I clean my gas jug out once a month. Never hurts.

Add a fuel tank sock to catch dirt in the fuel from the pump or from the air at the track. This will extend the fuel pump and filter lifes.

Blake looked great riding Jon's 350 last Sunday.
We run 91 Chevron and have no pinging issues. Hopefully we see you this Sunday at DT1.

Don’t think we’ll make it. Bike is being delivered won’t get it until Monday. Tore the 250 down and some plating flakesd of the cylinder so tearing that down. Trying to sell the 250f so really don’t want to ride that bike. He has prom anyway this weekend.
