and even Roger D for that matter. I think Alessi has done a great job of repairing his image over the past couple of years, I doubt he would want to get involved.
Remember last year when Reed was complained about Team Honda tactics, and Windham being a dirty rider?

People are missing the point. If Reed gets close to Stewart next week he will take matters into his own hands. Alessi wont have to do anything. Reed will hit him so hard that Row 10 at Sam Boyd might get Stewarts bike. lol.

If there's a guy out there who's better at taking another rider out than Stewart, I don't know who he is. If Reed wants to finish the race, he'd better stay away from James. But I think the AMA will step in and threaten to penalize any rider - or any team - that intentionally takes another rider out, like they did with Langston and Brown in '01. It's a shame that such a minor incident would come to something like that, but that's the way it goes.

I dont see Mike doing it either. Kind of like I wouldn't think that Stewey would want Chisolm to get involved. If LB did order it, it kind of looks like they dont think their rider can get it done.

I think any team rider (yellow or blue) that gets a chance to hold one of them up he will. But I don't think they will try to take them out.

No blue flags in SX let them race.

I agree..Mike is a seasoned pro now. I don't see him doing anything on purpose.

Reed really needs to take it back a notch, his pass on James was a take out move, which is pushing the limit IMO, but his comments after the race were a treat.

Didn't look any harder than Stewart's passes two races ago ...

reed was just saying he's a good guy to have on his side. doubt Suzuki will fly for dirty riding.

this guy on the other hand, we've not yet seen the lowest of what he is capable...

Ask Mitch Peyton, Matt Walker, or Ivan Tedesco.

I hope he Holeshots by 50 yards.

Riders racing each other certainly have the option of taking each other out. That's racing, always has been, and hopefully always will be.

If a rider is being lapped, they're no longer racing each other. That goes for situations like the one in SLC, as well as for riders like Bowers and JLaw that wait for someone to come around and then try to take them out.

That was racing not a take out move.

My opinion on Alessi.... Dude has had a stellar SX season even though he's been looking forward to the outdoors since January 3rd. And after the DNS this past weekend he's probably even more ready and can't wait to get to May 23rd and Glen Helen. Personally, I can't see him risking his chance at the outdoor title by getting involved.
