i don't think he tried to clean him out, he didn't give him any more room than was required, but thats racing. If you watch closely stewards front wheel slipped just as he exited the turn which put him into the tuff block. i don't really think chad was expecting steward to try and run the same speed around the outside of the corner with him.

I'll admit I went back and watched it 38 more times and I think Reed could have punted him if he wanted to.... So I change my original vote to "perhaps" because we'll never know what was going through his head at that particular time.

i was there, and no, he didn't try to take him out.

it was a VERY aggressive yet VERY clean pass. they may have bumped elbows but that's it. stewarts bike didn't have any yellow on it after the pass.

that's racing. good racing.

No. If you ride/and or race,you'll know. Left plenty of room,and could have launched James off the track in a heartbeat. Text book. James stayed cool and rode a great race.

they both played clean with each other.

stewart had some great passes and for reed to counter, i think it was a show of determination. these guys are amazing and the racing was amazing.

NO! They both had chance's to take the other out if they really wanted to.Best race I've seen live in a long time.
