This ! I saw a quick interview on instagram of the two brothers and the question was « Who is the fastest ? » Well Hunter answered first and say: it depends on which tracks and day...It seems pretty crazy, his brother Jett is only 15 ! He will be a real threat in the future

2018 - Hunter on an uncompetitive (many state early in the season) Honda? First moto of the year? 2nd! Never bettered it all year.

There's a whole lot of hype behind him, largely because of a couple of MXdN's. Ultimately, in the three seasons over here; Hunter had just 1 moto win in MX2, 1 GP win in MX2, plus 1 EMX250 win.

Don't get me wrong, he'll have the speed to win at times, but I doubt he'll be a consistent contender right off the bat. If Covington is healthy, it wouldn't surprise me to see him finish better overall in the Nationals. Overall, Hunter has more potential down the line!
In theory Covington should consistently be beating Hunter every weekend. Whether that actually happens or not is a whole different story.

Seewer was on a factory trick bike, Hunter was on the donkey.

I’m confident Hunter would of have had a better SX season then Covington , that was a bit of a debacle..
Based on that I’m calling Hunter to have him generally covered on US outdoor tracks.
Pure speculation though on my part

Indeed, Jett seems a crazy strong prospect. (the best of his generation? imo, no doubt)
It's a shame that this year Jett didn't stay in Europe to compete for a very challenging and formative MX2 season, his progression would have been even better. (in the same team than Hunter last year, with the same motor support from Geico, I estimate it was perfectly feasible, after from a family point of view, it would have been more difficult but IMO, that would have been worth it).

You have to consider that Hunter is racing himself into shape after that collarbone injury. Jett is well in form for doing so many races. They're both great talents and have an amazing style. Hopefully we see some good things from them in the future, much like the Pourcel + Martin brothers.
