Anyone know how I would go about clearing this? I would rather not have to buy the husky diagnostic tool or go to an overpriced dealer.

Hour meter isn't connected to the ECU, that's just the hour meter that maybe needs a battery or something

This is not a fault code, most likely a maintenance reminder by hour meter that you can reset

I just got off the phone with Husqvarna HQ in North America. They said it is indeed connected to the ECU and that I would have to go to a dealer to clear it. I don’t know who or what to believe.

Can you follow the wire from the hour meter and take a photo of where it stops? You might have to remove the tank.

The only “Fault” codes I’ve ever seen are when the FI light flashes.

Just take hour meter off the two Allen screws. On the bottom side of the hour meter there is a black button and this will reset the maintenance. This is not connected to the ECU. KTM has the same one but orange. You can't reset hours just the maintenance intervals.

Ok, that sounds logical to me. The Husky rep I talked to didn’t have hardly any technical knowledge at all and just referred me to the dealer.
