i have seen it too. Why would they do this? Does Davy Pootjes something to do with it? Is Ice One staying as factory in MXGP?

Do you think that JM racing could become Suzuki factory MX2 team for 2020. I mean til they change their mind again and run away like little yellow Bs they are. (coming from Suzuki fan tho)

Davy Pootjes? Why would he have something to do with this?

JM Husqvarna seems like the 2nd best team in the MX2 paddock. Maybe they expected his team to perform like the KTM factory team in mx2?

I disagree. Imo if you are goint to split this is much better for JM compared to the Suzuki - Everts split.

Martens has an almost complete season to land another factory deal or find a main sponsor. And if i am not mistaken Martens has a big list of partners who should make it doable for JM to run a 'privateer' team (in a smaller effort).

It is odd. Why after winning GP ditching team? You can't take the shine from RB KTM because the group that Husky is part of is called KTM group. KTM first, Husky second.

TKO is excellent rider but he isn't Prado. TKO also had long vacation before season. You can argue what you want but Aldon Baker would have something to say about this.

Jed Beaton is still recovering and finding his ground. Him and Jacobi are the sleeping threat to Prado's championship chances.

I think there has to be some other reason because performance-wise it doesn't add up.

They are not ditched after 2 gps. The contract wont be renewed after this season. This is announced early so that jm has time to find something new. And the news is publicized right now but was rumored for a while in the paddock so i dont think it comes as a surprise for jm

I’d say this has very little to do with riders..or results ....
And this early in the season
Shit has got real in trading terms ...they usually , won’t ditch / riders /teams , until season end ...but clear message here ..

It could be that the MX2 team goes to Ice One as well , and brings the whole Husky effort under one Team .

This would make sense , and act like KTM in that they can keep young riders onboard and have a 450 ride for their best talent as they move up.

JM got the tools and sponsors to run a private team again. They always did it that way until factory husky stepped up. Now they stepped out, there will be a brand that wants to help the team with support.

There are also rumors Suzuki wants to make a comeback in the GPs, so that would be a good match i think..

They should be Happy Husky dropped the news this early, because now they have time to make something happen with other brands and parts for 2020. Way better when the bom drops at late August..
