He's living in HI, teaching mx schools.

Hung out with Max during the Winter X Games in Aspen. He's loving life and was snowboarding / working at Aspen for the winter. Said he planned on living in SC for the summer to run a wakeboard park, skydive, maybe he mentioned moto schools in there somewhere.

He showed me a ton of recent videos of him doing all the above sports, and holy shit he's such a talented kid. Then went out and hit the mountain with him and was pretty in awe of his skills on a snowboard as well.

Didn't really get into the moto subject with him. Don't know, don't care... But he's loving life and living it to the fullest. Living the dream life of any 20 year old kid, I'll tell ya that much.

Always wondered what happened to him

I know he went to court over his ride at KTM. Allegedly some kind of contractual obligation wasn’t fulfilled by KTM, he sued, allegedly won, and called it a day with motocross. Just heard this from a couple of his peers.

Either way he quit because he wasn’t interested anymore.

This is what I heard, as well. Some type of lawsuit with KTM. Which essentially blackballed him. So he probably took the money and ran.
