The new MX2 Sensation!

Tom Vialle, son of formal world championship rider Fred Vialle is really getting along that orange RB KTM. He ended the EMX250 championship in the top 10 last year with 2 race wins, and he is already 4th in MX2 with a podium in GB without looking out of control. For a 18 year old rookie that is suprisingly good.

I agree it is very very impressive with a podium already at his second gp. This might be the start of something great.
You got to hand it to RB Ktm. Sure the bike is good but they manage to find really great talents and shape them in to champions. I mean how many didn't frown when it was announced Vialle was the one to take Jonass place and look now.

Well at first they were suppose to take Brian Moreau but he already had a good contact with Bud Racing but I'm sure that Moreau could have done great things too on the orange bike.

Exceptional talent and he has a bright future in the hands of the RB KTM Team.

I'm glad they took Vialle. Moreau is an exceptional talent, but he crashes a lot and is more interested in SX

Vialle looks smooth, in control and seems like a humble guy. Smets told that they like his work ethic and humble vision to riding for a factory team. He made a big step last winter. Another great call from KTM

I was thinking this thread would be about Jacobi, he has stepped it up massively this year. Great to watch.

But yes, I was surprised to see Vialle get a podium so soon.

Vialle looks very similar to Prado on a bike, very light on it and letting the bike do the work. The polar opposite of someone like Gasjer.

As for Jacobi, he has made huge strides over the winter but his interest in 'rubbing's racing' will mean he won't amount to much in the long run.

Vialle is the real deal, great speed and not many crashes. The KTM factory bike helps him to get great starts and stay out of trouble.

Jacobi was very fast last year at Valkenswaard before he crashed. He has stepped it up this season, so i wouldn't be surprised to see him go for a win.

As for Vialle he has surprised me a lot. Actually quite similar to Prado's first GP races.

Slightly related: what is up with the RB KTM's to get holeshot after holeshot?
