I hate that skimming whoops has gone the way of the Dodo. Wish they've make them so you couldn't jump them with the transitions. Or at least not knock them down twice in the night. ?

Tomac closed up a few laps in the whoops and dropped back on a few.

If someone can stay on top of them it’ll be a huge advantage but that’s proving to be super difficult towards the end as we’re seeing how people start clipping the back tire the last 6 or so.

I’m not disagreeing with that. But if tomac would enter a little faster he would have blew past him. Would have loved to see js7 or Malcolm blitz this set in practice

In 85 Daytona we ran 3rd or 4th gear straight into bare lightpoles that had dirt on them for about 3 laps that morning off a 40 man gate ,and there were 2 sets of them

Regardless of all the back and forth.

All I can say as a fan, and my personal opinion is that I don’t enjoy watching people jump through the. If your going to dumb them down enough that guys can they might as well just get rid of them for another rythme section.
