Got tired of my orange lid
It’s a little rough, the rubber molding will be dyed all black, it’s in the mail. next one will be air brushed and more detailed. I have my girlfriends helmet prepped ready to paint also

Is that overspray I see...on your board?
Looks good, I would be afraid to screw up a very nice lid.

Got my dye in the mail, almost has a mental breakdown when I got it all over my paint, had to do paint surgery with brake cleaner and wipe once, new rag, wipe once ect ect....but it looks way sicker I think, so next time I’ll dye before reinstalling the rubber trim...this stuff is nasty don’t use inside, also wear gloves, works great tho

I am liable to short circuit and totally ruin any project at any moment, I made it through this one with luck alone

Good job on the helmet! I was considering dying my 6d helmet trim, is it easy to remove and reinstall, or should I just mask it real well? Thanks
