So I’ve been weighing the options for the rear suspension on the build and I need some more experienced input. We have all the original shock parts but they’re going to need some serious tlc to get back into shape or do I buy a new set of shocks? The noleen v shocks are my top pick right now but there’s also YSS? I haven’t been able to find much to read up on this brand though.....any input is great

I would only use Ohlins,Noreen’s or works.

From what I’ve heard the yss are junk.

An 81 Maico 490 deserves the best. Don't scrimp on suspension. Ohlins.
