Golfing in Kauai

Going to Kauai in a few weeks, and was wondering who has golfed there? Or done anything fun there? Any cool bars or breweries? Hikes?

For golf play Puakea or Wailua Muni, both good value, not way overpriced like the resort courses there.

Kauai Island Brewing Co. isn't bad, had some good beer and food. Also Koloa Rum Co. is worth a stop, free tasting there.

Hike the Napali coast in late afternoon. Unbelievable scenery.

Helicopter tour of the island is pretty cool too.

Take the drive to Wiamei Canyon.

Hang out at Hanalei beach for an afternoon/sunset.

Earlier poster wasn't lying...you won't want to leave. It is paradise.

If you take the helicopter tour, pay extra to land at Jurrassic Falls.

Go to the beach at the west end of the island. Just keep going till the road ends.

I used to live on Kauai in the 90’s. Go to the Sheraton in Princeville and sit out on the bar balcony to watch the sunset. Go to Hanalei Gormet for drinks and live music. Then go across the street to the Tahiti Nui for more drinks and music. Ask the locals for entrance to secrets beach in Kilauea. Make sure you check out Queens Bath and the golf courses in Princeville.
