I am looking at a couple used 450s as a second bike. I primarily ride offroad, but because the price is right I am also interested in a 2017 ktm 450 sxf with 73 hours (rebuild at 60) to get back on the track. I am curious about people's long term experience, reliability/durability, set up, etc etc. Thanks!

I have a 17 ktm 450 with 71 hours on it. I haven't had any issues with the bike at all. im still on the original piston. I love the bike.

Got the 17 450. One ride on it at an indoor facility, definitely need the shock done (I'm 210). Regardless, I had a blast on it!!!

I have a 17 bought new in 17 only changed rear spring I’m 245lbs ride only motocross. Change oil and filters regular bike is my favorite I have ever owned.

I have a 17 450 with 165 hours. Valves are still in spec and not a single issue. I race the A class in the Desert. Very reliable, but I also run the best oil and change it religiously.

Awesome!! Looks to have been taken care of. I plan to run Rotella T6. That's been my go to for a couple years.

I run Motul 300V due to the discount I receive on it. If the discount wasn't available, I would be running the Rotella.
