Who's your pick to win the 450 title?

Pick 1 - I would have to go with Villopoto if he's healthy. He didn't light the SX series up like some thought, but maybe that's due to being sick.

Pick 2 - Windham. This could be his year. He's always up there in the mix and if not for RC, Windham could have nailed down some titles by now.

Pick 3 - Dungey (if he rides the 450 class). Why? Why not?

Pick 4 - Langston. GL is tougher than a damn crowbar and knows what perseverance is. Depending on who he rides for......you just never know.

Pick 5 - Alessi. If he stays healthy, 2009 might be his year.

Discuss.

I would think that Josh Grant might have something for Villopoto. My guess would be Grant, Villo, Alessi, or Cooper for the outdoor title.

Yeah, but I heard that was his first ride back from his knee injury. Not doing SX now, maybe that will give him time to get up to speed for the nationals.

Hmm, yeah I'm thinking the guy who has won 3 straight national outdoor titles and 3 straight MXDN MX2 titles and prefers the outdoors to supercross might have the advantage, but that's just me.

hope so, talk with him for a few and seemed really nice and didnt mind talking with a stranger

1. Villopoto is the man, he should be up to speed by then.
2. Aleesi should be rolling and win a few.
3. Josh Grant will be rollin, should win one.
4. Jason Lawerence, not sure if he will be 450 or 250
5. Josh Hill should be more consistant and run up front.

What's up with Cody Cooper, is he hurt?

it's just a damn shame James won't try to beat RC's records.

James could prob go undefeated.

I think James is a great rider, but I don't think he could defend his title 6 1/2 times...in a row...on 2 different engine types...and 3 different brands.

Alessi was looking damn good outdoors last year before he got hurt. If he can run that pace again this summer he'll be in a good position to do very well.

Anyone heard any more about whether or not Langston found a ride? Or if anyone's confirmed whether or not Windham will be at any of the nats?

I think that Alessi is going to be really strong however, you can not count out Villopoto. He is the one to beat. Three mx titles in a row!! The guy is sick outdoors. My pick #2!!

Right. Crap. Got it. Villopoto, Allessi, Grant, Hill, Short, Tedesco, Millsaps, Cooper, Ferry, Langston, etc. Yep, just crap.

Yep it will be, unless 800 does his kill switch dealio with RV. GL wont be competitive to begin with, when he gets some race time in he'll be ok. Cooper will be interesting...will there be live coverage?

Pick 1 - I would have to go with Villopoto if he's healthy. He didn't light the SX series up like some thought, but maybe that's due to being sick.

Remember RV did not set the SX world on fire his fisrt year on 250F's either but he sure as hell did in the outdoors so I think thats a good pick Spinner.
I also think that KW has everything its going to take to win the Nats if he has decent support.
Alessi has got to be one of the favorites, if he uses his head in the outdoors like he has in SX.
Josh Hill and Broc Hepler have the speed to win it but will they have the luck and the paitence to win it?
No hating but I really hope JS and CR go somewhere else on summer vacation.

Allessi and Vilo are going to have some good dice's, but with Allessi having more seat time on the bigger bikes and knows what the pace is like. I think this will be Mike's year to shine. JMO

Villopoto, Grant, Hill and Alessi and Hepler will probably be the fastest.
Short should have the consistency though.
I doubt RD will have Dungey on a 450...should though
Langston...farewell tour.
Gonna be killer!
