What Rider would benefit most from an outdoor 450 title?

how easy it is to forget that Chad is a complete badass outdoors. I think he was just over shadowed by RC and James. If James sits out and Chad races; I think Chad would be the favorite after 24 30+2's. Not perfect, but barring injury he'd take it in the end.

Trust me, if Lawrence races outdoors on a 450 and wins the title he will have deserved it regardless of what he has done off the track. It's apples and oranges.

It's not like deserving a promotion at a regular job; he will have to train, sweat and beat some of the best in the world to do it - at least.

I can't believe in this entire thread a particular name has not been mentioned. Question: Which rider has won the most outdoor titles/supercross titles in the last 3 years? Ryan Villopoto, outdoor animal.

He would benefit a great deal because it would shut up all the "he's only proven himself on a 250f" critics. Don't forget also that he beat a hell of a lot of 450s in multiple MXDNs.

K-Dub's still trying to work something out, but time's getting slim. One of the biggest issues? Having a place for him to work out of. There are already five guys riding out of the semi. Factory Connection's second trailer? It's being leased by Hart & Huntington.

If Reed and Stewart are truly not racing this summer, you have a genuine title favorite with KW.
I completely agree Adam.

Make a decision to cart Reardon around, leave Windham behind, and ask that we take the industry folks seriously when posting.

Windham is a great racer with a huge fan base. I also agree with TheWeapon, KW on a H&H Honda would be sweet. I wonder if Carey would get serious enough to add a top guy on his team. I believe a Windham would cost a little more than a Troy Adams, but it's worth going through Pinks purse when she's sleeping, to get him.

Grant Langston would benefit the most. To overcome that kind of adversity to win a title, that kind of payback is hard to put into words. To not know whether of not you will ever ride again to being the fastest outdoors would be an incredible personal feat. I for one think he can do it. KW is a close second.

K-Dub would be cool, but like other people said, he would probably retire after the season. No benefit for anyone. Alessi, however, would take the momentum of an outdoor title, and put it on top of the best work ethic in the Big Leagues for one hell of a run in Supercross next year.

id be torn between windham and langston. too bad windham didnt race outside last year when he was fired up from supercross ,that would have been perfect because he was in the right frame of mind to win which seems to be his downfall, not his skills or age. grant would be cool as hell with all hes been thru and never got to ride with the #1 plate he won because of bad luck

Being Australian i don't like the cut of your jib in regards to Reardon. Anyhow i think contracts might have something to do with it. KW originally signed for SX only didn't he and now you expect team budgets logistics etc to be re-arranged for KW's change of heart.
Must admit though it would be awesome to have KW out there and out of a box van. He mentioned he wanted to do something for the nationals involving the fans.(Ebay a spot as a crew member for each round?) KW on a 2-Smoke!

It would be cool to see Windham win it, and I think he could, but the guy with the most to gain is Andrew Short. That title would elevate him another step. Right now not much gets said about him.
