Bought the shock used for a little bit and that's from where the scratches are on the lower part under the threads,no threads worn away, it's something with the photo
How much did you guys spend on the full Rfx fork? I have heard the inserts don't perform as well in WP tubes? I have 4cs tubes.
I am in the research phase right now and am considering all options in the 15-2500 dollar range (I think full rfxs fork is more expensive than I thought initially). Do you guys think it would be best to look for a set of used previous gen cones?
What about Dal soggio inserts? Seems to be all the rage but I heard something about that fork having bladder problems blocking a check valve or something and revisions have subsequently been made but it makes me think that fork may not be as good or refined as some may think? The design seems to be a WP cc copy? Does it behave like a cc bladder fork? Thanks for replies
A typical complete fork will run $3000.00- retail (US). An internal cartridge kit runs $1225.00 + springs $150.00 + installation costs (if you don't do it yourself).
The inserts work just fine! They are the guts of the complete Öhlins forks.
If you find a used set of Öhlins forks for your bike they can be fully serviced. This is a good way to go if you can find them. The problem is that used Öhlins forks are hard to come by. The people that are running Öhlins forks don't necessarily want to sell them because they work very well. If they do decide to sell them they get snapped up pretty quickly.
Dal soggio inserts? Never heard of them. I don't have any experience with this product so I cant really make a comment on them. I do know about Öhlins products have been around since the '70's & started off in motocross. After visiting the factory in Sweden I realize these are the top level products on the market. No expense is spared to make the best product possible!
For me I am considering either dal soggio inserts or the ttx. The dal soggio inserts retail for $1500. They explain a bit more about the fork on their website, 4 port piston, bladder, automatic cartridge bleed valve etc...

I just want to make sure that the damping rod is only 8mm? Does anyone know? I have been told that 8mm simply can not provide enough base valve flow without either diving or being harsh.
ill try to find out some info,
but dont hold yout breath..
i do know they work very well, just ive got 'a kit' enzo kyb sss and am very happy with them..
