James could take a chance and grow JSE and go out and get huge exposure all nationals long and another Championship...I hope he races outdoors.

I am guessing that is what JSE is for...pick up a used semi, wrap it, and Yamaha "loans" him bikes and parts.

Is that too far fetched?

Maybe for this summer he just wants to say, "fuck it"

He traveled every summer his entire life and now would probably like to do the things he's never done.

You know, get married, eat bad food, romp without a rubber, smoke a joint, drink beer until he pisses the couch, set something on fire.................the shit the rest of us do during the summer.

Let him live his life, he deserves it.

Yeah..tough life having everyone cater to your every beck and call.

It would be HUGE in my book if James raced this year outdoors, and even if he did so on his own dime. That would be HUGE and I would forgive him for making last season boring.

My guess:

He does the live rounds, x games and maybe a gp or three.

AKA: Press races.

If I were him i'd get a hold of yami & burkhart after vegas and get some supermoto time in before the x games. Throw that on top of the above mentioned races and he gets more press than going 24-0 last summer.

That carries a lot of weight considering that it’s coming from a guy that hides behind a computer screen and won't even disclose his name. I am sure that you are one of those elite individuals that belong to the "CORE" club.

First off a hole, my opinion carries no weight. Its just an online forum for goodness sakes, if you think your opinion on here carries weight you need to get over yourself. Hiding who is hiding, nobody give a crap about who is who on here except for a very few "CORE" people and you must be one of them "captain" important. And my opinion still stands, if you ride sx and not mx your a poooooooosy. And if you don't get the sarcasm in that your brain dead.

Everts handed Bubs his ass that year at the MXoN.

I'd rather he didn't race the whole series so we could see some racing for first place. Without Chad and James in the pic there would be a lot of guys with a chance of winning a race. James and Chad should throw them a bone. lol.
Only James would affect the outdoors series. Chad has an upper hand on everyone else inside but outdoors he would just be one of about 5 or 6 guys that could win. Chad will not run away from everyone outside. Only James can do that and nope I'm not a bubba lover but I know he is way faster than everyone else outdoors and that includes Chad.

Maybe LB could write a column on L&M's plans for the summer. Tongue
What JSE has to do with L&M and can he go out on his own without them for the summer.

For once buddy I am going to have to agree with you. The GPs are a whole different ball game. Tracks are different, living conditions are different and James's support staff wouldn't be as effective.

He would do well but wouldn't be as dominate as he is he in the states.

You can tell all this from Oklahoma?..

Lenny,

This isn't a slam on James. It's more about moving someone out of their element than it is anything else. I have known kids that have tried to run the GPs and it's like living in a total different world. My son has also raced over seas at a few of the off season indoor races and he had a hard time adjusting to everything from the food to the simple things like getting his suspension from one place to another.

Different world over there and some here don't have the respect they should for those overseas riders that choose to come to the US. James is the fastest man in the world here but complicate things and turn his world upside down and it would affect his performance.
james would wax the living shit out of the GP comp.

So far, all this racing outdoors here or in the GPs is made up babble, but too many people are talking about the troubles Stewart supposedly have with travel, etc.

You guys think too small. The kind of program a rider like Stewart would have isn't going to be the situation Ryan Mills or Scott Sheak or some kid trying the catch a break rides under.

Kenny Roberts hit the RR GPs in the 70's, and the guy was about as an out of culture American as possible. He succeeded by bringing home with him and creating an environment with support such that these so-called hurdles never touched him. If -- IF -- Stewart ever went overseas, you think he's going to do have any less a set up? Travel, communication and logistical support is sooooo much better than it was then. A guy in Stewart's position simply is not going to have to deal with anything other than a first time look at tracks.
