Does anyone have old Loretta’s bibs framed or set up to hang on a wall? I am looking to have a couple set up to look nice and hung up in a sports medicine office. Any pictures or ideas would be appreciated.

I've got mine hung up. Used just a thumb tack through each shoulder.

We had it done at hobby lobby with my boys KJSC bib came out pretty good.

What is the idea of the bibs at loretta’s? Why is this the only place that makes you wear them?

This is my thought, numbers, many people have jersey lettering with their local/regional number, this was the simple practical way to keep from buying jerseys relettered with a one time number if you weren't able to keep your number as is.

Started out as a necessity in 1982, as everyone was assigned numbers for the finals. Over the years jersey printing and graphics evolved, but the bibs became a tradition of their own, just like the chips you drawn for starting gates. For 3 out of 4 riders, these are the only trophies they will take home from the ranch.

I love it that you guys keep this tradition, I really hated it and if someone of the organization of BERCY reads it, then I repeat I just don't like it that this tradition went away in Paris. But I understand that pro teams and even the amateur programs at Loretta aren't always to happy with wearing a bib that covers some of there sponsors.

That is probably the only bad thing I can say about the supercross there but as a kid I recreated those bibs with a unused white garbage bag and draw a number on it and then Phillips (the sponsor from Bercy) and then go racing in the garden on the bicycle. Kids now would probably do it in Photoshop Laughing

It's an awesome tradition!! I have some trophies from there and the bibs are far more keepsakes then the trophy.
