Cairoli looked great, Herlings is out so that comparison is gone , there is still some good racing lets enjoy it.

Man, seeing Prado ride is so amazing to watch. Piece of art.

Anyone seen how many people Watson passed these first few laps? Dude is having a great year so far. Saw him ride at our local track last wednesday and his work ethic is no joke!

Dissapointment of the year for me is Hunter Lawrence for sure.. don’t know whats going on but can’t remember last time seeing him ride at the top 3. His younger brother though, Jett, impresses me more and more. I’m following him since I’ve seen him ride a 85 last year and he made some huuge steps to win on a RMZ250 in such a deep field at the age of 14/15

Yeah Lawrence has had a horrible season and the injury didn't help it... It will be interesting to see what he does in USA next year.

Jett Lawrence should on the other hand stay in Europe. It's stupid of him/them to go and race US amateur racing considering his speed and ability. Stay and win the EMX250 title in 19. Then go to USA in 2020 and ride the 250 outdoor class.

Lol you don't think kids in the amateur ranks have just as much if not more speed an ability than Jett? Now that's hilarious.

Well if you get the opportunity to ride for the amateur program of Geico and grow into the pro program, I think that is a great chance (considering he is riding full privateer right now).

Only 21 riders on track now..

Exactly. Motofinne seems to think Jett is making out racing EMX 250. He's not. He will benefit greatly heading to the USA, getting onto a fantastic program and racing the best amateurs in the world. Especially if being in the USA is what his dream is.

Never said that.

My point is that i think racing the EMX250 is the best development series for a kid with that ability. 25 min + 2 laps on the same tracks as the pros that get really, really tough. And we've seen how fast you have to be for winning a EMX250 moto like he did in Italy, i don't see the point in racing amateurs in USA(except getting used to living in USA before racing the big boys).

He could go straight to pro outdoor racing in 2020.

That is just my opinion. Either way, he will be a fantastic racer.

Pretty big statement from Prado that moto. He's going to make it very difficult for Jonass to repeat. I remember thinking after the first 6 motos the MX2 class was going to be a rollover.

All the talk about the amateur racing in the USA....the problem is if a kid like Jett Lawrence comes over he won't actually race much. Mini-0s, RC Daytona, Loretta Lynns, Monster Cup, etc. The trend in the USA is for these kids to race less and train more, which I think is incorrect.

True. Chad Reed was really impressed as well when he came back 2 years ago at the Italy round. I think it should be good for the amateur ranks to race on the pro tracks during the outdoors.

In Lisa's interview with chad, he mentioned he doesn't like how motocross operates now. What's he referring to?

Looks like he's going to swallow these guys right back up though, no probs.

I watched Hunter ride at Saint Jean last weekend. Race 1 he crashed at the start with Ben Watson but then, he came back from 27 to 7 in like 4-5 laps, then he kind of stop his come back from behind ride as he wasn't able to find a way pass Geerts, but he was really fast at the beginning of race 1, I would say as fast as the leaders. Race 2, I don't know what happened to him at the start but he was coming back fast once again, then he crashed while passing Jonass (he was 7-8 seconds out of Jonass 3-4 laps before that) and then started back almost dead last again and was not on the same pace. Speedwise he's there, I think, just need to put all the pieces together.

That’s just a generic Chad statement. If he can’t win at it then he finds a way to discredit. He’s also complained about the US Nationals too. And then the bikes. Oh the bikes. Yamaha 2017. Honda 2013. Kawasaki 2010.

Have to respect his achievements but he’s kind of like a proud old lion who refuses to give way to the younger in the herd.

Good ride for Anstie. I thought Seewer had his measure in the closing laps but 99 wicked it up.

Cairoli beat Herlings today by not getting injured.

Cairoli crashed 3 times this weekend , but its good to see Cairoli smiling again

only way for Cairoli to win this championship is if Herlings gets injured as on the track he cant beat him
lot of racing to go , the one with most points at the end is the champ .

Yeah I know he has the speed. But it seems like it just isn't clicking for him this year. After Argentina I had high hopes, but it seems like he just can't get a break. Looks like he crashed at the start second race, he and Pootjes came right back to 10th and 11th I believe. Just needs some good starts.. thats it
