Man he's got such a history of wadding himself up in moto more than anything else. I would love to see him keep it up and complete the entire night healthy, but I fear this won't be the case. After I watched him at Daytona a few years back I had hoped he never decided to race again supercross again. I sincerely hope I'm wrong but I can shake the feeling that he has another spectacular crash awaiting.

The only time I'm afraid for Pastrana is when he straps that fricken' parachute on.

Not afraid at all.

Compared to some of the other stuff he has done the last few years, supercross is a "walk in the park".

And TP199 is "the Man". By far the popular guy who has raced motocross and there is a reason for that.

I'm not saying he isn't the man, and that he hasn't done amazing things in moto/superx.

He just wads himself up more often and worse when racing than freestyle, stunts, and rally combined.

We should lower our expectations for TP199 this time, he has not raced in quite awhile.

Making the main would be great.....top ten........fantastic.

It'll be fun watching him rip it up again, no matter the outcome.

I wouldn't worry too much about him getting injured, the guy seems to be made of rubber.

I'm stoked that he is racing. But I thought he recently broke his wrist. Hope he's healed and somewhat fit.

I want to see Travis race and do well. The reality of it is, he knows this and they know this. How do you jump into the series with limited training. He has the skills but I am afraid of: He will be mid pack due to everyone else is just that more primed.

He will be just fine! I would think that he will make the main and be in the back (15-20) You never know what will happen that's why people that were not going to the race will be now!! The guy is a nut.

I bet he's enjoying this time, prepping for SX action. He's around friends and in a very normal environment for him.
I worry for him if something starts going too right in a moto. Like a 1st turn pile-up that he avoids and starts running a top 5. He'd go completely crazy in a situation like that. I thought he died when I saw him crash at Unadilla about 8 years ago. We'll see.

I think he is more prepared for this race than most of his other guest spot races. He is also a bit older and wiser. I think he will be fine. The only thing that worries me is his spur of the moment ideas. That is usually what gets him in to trouble. I am hoping for a top 10. I can wait to watch the race.

I thought Jolene was only accepting deposits from David Knight?

I'm not afraid for TP, a SX race is nothing compared to the sheer lunacy that he does on a regular basis.

TP said he feels real comfortable with the dirt in St. Louis. He has a good shot at making the main. I would really be worried for him if he tries the outdoors, the speeds in MX would be too dangerous for those bad knees.

I think some of the competition should be afraid of TP... he still has ridiculous speed (Daytona before he crashed) and that a guy like him can just come back and potentially place above some of the factory riders. I think he is going to do good and can't wait to see the outcome

I thought it was pretty funny when he said "A couple weeks ago Timmy Ferry and Michael Byrne were trying to teach me how to scrub! This is after my time! I really haven’t been doing supercross since 2002."

Is he going to race a 2-stroke? (does he have any experience riding a 4-stroke?)

I hope he does well...the only question I have is how is going to crash into Larocco if Mike isn't there?

That's pretty much what I was thinking. When hasn't he "recently broken" something. I watched Nitro Circus the other night just long enough to see him dislocate his shoulder.
