Man he's got such a history of wadding himself up in moto more than anything else. I would love to see him keep it up and complete the entire night healthy, but I fear this won't be the case. After I watched him at Daytona a few years back I had hoped he never decided to race again supercross again. I sincerely hope I'm wrong but I can shake the feeling that he has another spectacular crash awaiting.
Compared to some of the other stuff he has done the last few years, supercross is a "walk in the park".
And TP199 is "the Man". By far the popular guy who has raced motocross and there is a reason for that.
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
He just wads himself up more often and worse when racing than freestyle, stunts, and rally combined.
Making the main would be great.....top ten........fantastic.
I wouldn't worry too much about him getting injured, the guy seems to be made of rubber.
Love Nitro Circus by the way.
Pit Row
I bet he's enjoying this time, prepping for SX action. He's around friends and in a very normal environment for him.
I worry for him if something starts going too right in a moto. Like a 1st turn pile-up that he avoids and starts running a top 5. He'd go completely crazy in a situation like that. I thought he died when I saw him crash at Unadilla about 8 years ago. We'll see.
I'm not afraid for TP, a SX race is nothing compared to the sheer lunacy that he does on a regular basis.
I thought it was pretty funny when he said "A couple weeks ago Timmy Ferry and Michael Byrne were trying to teach me how to scrub! This is after my time! I really haven’t been doing supercross since 2002."
