Seems like a lot of guys are getting their Factory Edition or Race Edition bikes in this week.

What made you select one over the other? Also curious how much these really sell for.

Both are very tempting.

I liked the orange, even though I was previously riding white.

But to be honest the same thing can be said generally for Husky vs KTM. I bought my last Husky because it had a few better parts than the KTM and was basically the same price. With the FE, it's a crap shoot.

The KTM definitely has nicer lines this time around, but between the two I’d go Husky because of my great local Husky dealer.

Since they are about the same bike it would come down to looks for me. I don't like how the new FE looks just like the current one. I'm a Ktm guy and unless I'm right next to a 18.5 FE I can't even tell it's the new version. Except the muffler looks a lot different.

Bought mine today while at the Supercross. Mountain Motorsports was running blowout pricing all weekend. Couldn’t be happier.

I went KTM because that's what the local dealer carries. I also bought my 16 kx450f from the same dealer and he gave me a great trade-in on it towards the KTM. I was unable to get him to move on the price from msrp. The freight charge was also close to a grand. Seemed ok to me though because I'm sure these bikes won't really be available for long. They atleast gave me a really nice orange aluminum matrix KTM stand for the deal.

They are significantly slimmer than the regular 2018. It's the same if not even more slim than the current kx450.
