i had the same problem with storage, Maverick mentioned that you can add an external storage device.

i picked up a WD My Passport 2TB at Walmart for $70. now i have 1.5TB free space and don't have to juggle games to delete/install.

You can delete old games you no longer play to make room or just buy an external hard drive and plug it in one if the USB slots. You'll have to sync it to the console first (really easy) after that you can download games and they'll be saved on there.

I got tired of deleting games to make room for other's because I sometimes go a long time before going back to them. Having to delete and re-install games became a pain in the ass so I bought a 2TB external hard drive just so I no longer had to deal with that.

Had no other choice because I didn't have enough room to install COD: WWII. That along with the fact that I knew 2 MX games were coming soon and a bunch of other games will be released this year made it an easy choice to make.

I'd recommend buying an external hard drive. You'll then be able to download the game and stop running around from store to store.

Lol. Right on, boys. Yessir!! I am here and kicking! I'm doing a session today. I do music so just search for my thread in the non moto section for videos and info, if interested. So been a bit tied up. With that being said, I have my copies in my possession and will get to enjoy it this evening....after I play rock star for a few hours. Wink

Very stoked to see you boys are enjoying it. It's literally killing me to have to wait to play it but what can you do. Rock n roll doesn't wait for anything, damn it. Lol. I know I'm going to absolutely love it. Can't wait to fire it up tonight!!!!!!!

Surpised my digital copy did not have a patch last night - must have been the disk versions. I got the season pass edition on xbox. Under the download content Menu in the game, I was able to install a few extras like some Military Theme gear and a very handy DOUBLE XP multiplier for those coins! :D The pre-order Fly gear was alright.

Im finding the bike sponsorships a bit obnoxious how all of them change the bike to some unknown brand colors - I got a kx250 and all the bike sponsors completely cover up the manufacturer colors! :/ On the starts its a bit of a cheat how I can just plow thru like a goon on the first turn with zero consequence, so if I treat the racing a bit more realistically while in the pack, it is pretty damn fun trying to catch the front leaders. Gameplay is fun. Scrub animations feel awkward coming from MVA games. Probably the biggest gripe(!) is the lack of terrain deformation. Im playing on medium length and I see tread marks for the lines, but zero actual rut formation.

Overall tho I’m loving this game. I was a bit skeptic cuz of the videos but once I started playing and turned the difficulty up I love it. Such a challenge on certain tracks

What are you doing to scrub? I tried just like moving the sticks like a whip but nothing lol.

Haven’t made it home to play yet, but if it’s like MXGP3 push your sticks in opposite directions, one stick left and the other one to the right. Also, don’t wait until your in the air to do it, instead start early on the face of the jump for a really sick scrub, but not too early or you’ll eat shit. lol

Awesome thank you. I was just easing up on the gas to not over shoot but now I can try that lol. Do any of you have trouble with the clutch not giving you some power out of corners?

Milestone need to stop making one motocross game per year, this game feels unfinished, if they had taken 2 or 3 years developing this game we would have had an amazing supercross game

Damnit I feel like a kid on Christmas morning having to wait until I finish work to play this game. It made it worst when I saw the email saying that it has been delivered. I'm sitting here like Ralphie from The Christmas Story daydreaming about becoming a Supercross champion. I'm going to be like Langston tonight and only think about two things.

Winning races and smashing pussy.

I'm super with the track editor. It's going to take skill and some thought to create a lasting track.

I'm using a whoop as a starter whoop and then using the small single jumps as the real whoops. They are huge and you have to really use the right technique to skim them. ?

Good idea and hopefully that works. I haven't had a chance to play yet, but the most glaring issue I've seen in the videos is how shitty the whoops look. They're just small bumps that they sail over without losing hardly any speed.

Just played it for about an hour and like it a lot.

The graphics are great, and have been great since MXGP3, so I think what really makes both these games special (and polarizing) is the controls. I like them. The changes they've made make supercross much more fun than the one SX track was in MXGP3. The connection between the rider and the ground is better. The controls are a little more precise. The tracks are wider. The tough blocks can ruin your good time, but don't always.

You can do more with the bike. In MXGP3, things like step-on-step-offs felt odd. Wheelies and manuals didn't really do what they should do off obstacles, and it's better here. I like the bowl turn slide action.

Rider customization is better. The font choices alone for names and numbers go a long way.

I feel less able to bounce through a section without penalty, as you could in MXGP3. I like that. Slowing down and being smooth pays off.

I wish I could scrub a little bit less. The scrub is cool, but it's such an all or nothing move, as it was in MXGP3.

I miss the open world player "compound" where you could practice. This game dumps you right into the thick of supercross, and it's tough. And this is stupid because it's a supercross game, but I miss the outdoors. Supercross is stressful! And I think they captured that feeling very well.

I don't think the game is incomplete, as someone else up there said, but it does feel boxed in. And I don't really understand the achievements yet, but they put a lot of emphasis on the various plaques/trophies you can win.

1. PHYSICS- in 4 titles physics have changed but they havent evolved in my opinion
2. WHIPS AND SCRUBS- i know, motocross is more than that but i think they need to invest time to get a free air control
3.BRAKES- in gp1 and gp2 you had to use the brakes in gp3 and mes you only need to use the rear brake
4.COLLISION SYSTEM- when you fall on a rider you dont actually fall on it, you fall on a hitbox, same thing when they fall on you
5.BUGS AND PERFOMANCE PROBLEMS

I've only played the first track, but I played it a lot and I disagree with the whoops being an issue. You can haul ass through them if you hit them right, but if you don't you'll bounce all over the place and they can toss you. It's like a reward for a job well done to skim the main whoops section in the first track.

I think the whips and scrubs in these games are like in real life. I can't do them in either!

HA.

But for real, if you set yourself up for the whip before you leave the ground, it works. If you go off a jump straight and then try to move the bike, it doesn't work. I do think that's more realistic than the other games.

Clutch is useless as it has been in the gp series. Focus more on throttle control to get the traction. The brake does not override the throttle in this game, so you have to do your braking before. Slow down to go faster if that makes sense. Leveling up will help also.

It lets you ride a 450 in the 250 championship.

I picked the Honda for my bike and it went to 450 first. Didn't think I'd have to change the bike when selecting the 250 East championship (doesn't let you select 450 series). I noticed it in the results. Thought it was just a glitch (well, it's obviously a very big glitch) but the number plate backgrounds were white, not black like everyone else.

So if you're winning very easily in the 250 class, you might be on a 450.

Ok, cool. I'm only going off of what it looked like in videos where they're probably playing on the arcade setting, so I'm glad to hear that they don't suck.

I'm okay with the whoops on the standard tracks, but I wanted something that was a bit more challenging. I think the way I designed the whoops is perfect. You have to his them not fully leaned back and you have to be sure your front tire hits every whoop.
