Won’t make it through tech with a cut off lever. The ball at the end of the lever is there to keep the lever from stabbing someone.

Oh man - I have ridden with a lever like that for months and it didn't bother me. Webb is 1000 times the rider ill ever be and so I think its BS that the lever slowed him. He shouldnt have used that excuse because guys that actually ride will now know he was pulling at straws. The first turn crash is excuse enough and he should have left it at that, that lever sob story needs to GTFO.

Omg he still had half a lever. Can’t believe they made such an ordeal out of that. Here I was thinking he came through the pack with no clutch use. Was all impressed. GTFO Laughing

These dudes barely use the clutch anyways. That lever didn't hold him back nearly as much as it was made out to be.

If you drop the bike and the lever folds forward, you can’t pull the clutch in to keep the bike running while you pick it up. You have to shut it off first. This is why I would never use a folding clutch lever.

Webb has a rekluse in his bike... Hence why he never stalled. His lack of performance was not held back by a measly clutch lever...

I was under the assumption his lever was completely gone....geez. It did it's job and broke off where it was supposed to.

Lets be honest he finished where he was gonna finish. Instead of dropping back and getting passed the whole main he got to make a couple passes forward to end in the spot he belongs right now and would have ended up either way. Wasnt he almost 20th in qualifying.

I bet factory guys have the levers torqued to spec in the exact position their rider likes and they dont move at all when they fall leading to...cooper webb sucking even more than usual. Although lets be serious he would have just dropped back to around that finish anyways.
