It's enough that he can't pass anybody without making contact or shoving them off the track, the first thing he says is "he hit, me, it's his fault" when it was clearly his fault. And not to nitpick, but he did toss his bike like a little girl too.
He'd be a bigger doushe bag if he said....."oh well, that's racing"

Biggest race of the year and you flip off the track and out of the title hunt and race......you better be pissed.

Do you retards bitching about Erin really think it's her idea to shove a microphone in someone's face right after they crash? Here's a clue; her ears don't really look like ear muffs. She has a director/producer that's telling her exactly where to be, and it wouldn't surprise me if that same director/producer was feeding her questions as well. If you don't like post fuck-up interviews, that's fine, but don't kill the messenger.
Too bad that producer doesn't tell her to stop saying things like "Ironman effort",or "still a warrior" about every rider or tell her to stop ending every segment with that same singsong tone of voice EVERY time. It's always the same. The producer or director really does need to step in. Tell her to just be more conversational instead of like she's reading a cue card. I know it's petty but someone needs to help her out. It's broadcasting 101.

I was trying not to form a negative early opinion on him but after that interview he comes across like a douche for sure.

Douchebag is a little harsh.

He was definitely wrong to say what he said, but it was the heat of the moment and he had just seen his championship hopes disintegrate.

I feel for the kid in that situation. Many of us would have all done the same.

Throwing the bike down was pretty unprofessional too. I'm sure it impressed Mitch and Kawasaki both.

I just think it's pure passion, I rather see his behavior and Durham's also, man when he went down he picked up that bike so fast and got going fast, it's passion those guys want it bad !!

Yes he made a mistake, he is having a problem with patience. But what passion huh for what he does. He tries hard to hard most of the time. When MItch teaches him to calm down and relax he will be unbeatable. But in the meantime the pr guys need to teach him humility and to just shut up for the moment! Remember Alessi?

I understand the passion and the desire to win...And the kid is stupid fast. But on the throwing the bike to the ground ...It makes him look like a spoiled little bitch that has no respect for the value of someone else equipment.... he should be taking that wadded up bike back to Mitch saying "sorry sir, I broke your bike....please let me ride it again.." Instead he tosses it away like yesterdays newspaper... Where would he be without PC??? These young guys need to learn just how fortunate they are to have a job...

That's a fair assessment, and I agree with you. My problem is with the people saying things like "That dumb bitch...". Seems a little over the top for something that doesn't affect the life of anyone on this board in a negative way.

You get responses like J.s and Stroupe give when you do that.
Part of being "professional" is knowing how to deal with the media, and knowing the right thing to say in the heat of the moment.

I like the candid remarks, makes for good message board fodder!
