Mike Alessi looked really good at Indy. He always gets great starts and seems to be getting closer to the pace of Stewart and Reed. He even passed Stewart back (even though it was only for a second).
I think he will win Salt Lake City!
I think he will win Salt Lake City!
The main thing I want to see him do is stay healthy until the outdoors which is just around the corner. He's been riding smart and I hope this recent podium doesn't give him the "fever" and cause him to get all whiskey throttle on us.

I was thinking for some reason the Daytona SX had more laps and more riders in the main event than the other SX events, and was more like an outdoor race, but I just saw the race schedule on RacerX, and it looked the same as the other races.
I have been away from watching the races for a couple of years, so I don't know what I was thinking. I thought Daytona was a lot different.
Short, Grant, Kdub, villopoto, and bhep are all better canidates for making the podium in SX for the rest of this year..
But outdoors I would put my money on the #800. He is gonna be more driven this year knowing he is going to have an X on his back. I think RV is gonna hit the dirt alot trying to stay with the 800 machine.
Alessi will do well outdoors this season.
As much as I like Mike, I think it will tough to overcome something like this unless they take each other out.
He gets a lucky podium result of 2 mechanicals and 1 very sick rider and suddenly he's a threat to win??
Pit Row
mikey and RV should consistently podium next Sx season.........
And since we had an act from god at A1 i seriously doubt it will happen again.
Moves everyone up... well... that may be true, but that only brings MA up to 6th or so.
