What the fuck is he thinking?
Dave? DocWeedon? You guys hear anything?
Seems like a foolish thing to do RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON. Especially considering he's doing fairly well for himself.

AMA Supercross rider Matt Boni, who currently sits 16th in points, just sent us an e-mail informing us that he and the Butler Brothers MX team have parted ways:
"After much thought and deliberation in recent weeks I have decided to relinquish myself from the Butler Brothers MX team," wrote Boni. "Both BBMX and myself have had great success over the past years, but I feel as though I have reached my potential with the team. I truly appreciate all the support both the team and the sponsors have given me over the last year and a half. At this time I feel it is best for both parties involved if we went our separate ways."
Rumors have it that Matt Boni may be joining the the Hart & Huntington Honda team. Stay tuned to Racer X Online as this story develops.

It's a no brainer.

I don't see how those bikes can be any better or worse. Honda's with aftermarket parts with $$$$ = the same bikes.
"but I feel as though I have reached my potential with the team"
I guess it isn't that bad though.
Sounds like he needs a manager to help with things like this. That statement could come back to haunt him and his new team.
Though the team switch is a lateral move at best, if you were offered to do the same job for free, or to be paid, you know what you would pick.
As far as Marsh goes. I had heard he was looking for work a few weeks ago.
That's code for
1.the bikes are beat
2.he doesn't have enough support on his practice stuff.
3. someone not getting paid.
Normally it's all 3 but take your pick.
Just so people know, if you thought Alan Brown did a good job with the Honda's
(And he did excellent) for MotoXXX than you shouldn't be blaming the H&H bikes for performance.
Suspension is what I would be most concerned with if I were a rider or a manager with the team. Like I said, I know nothing about "Independent Suspension". They might be the best kept secret in the pits but then again, they may not be.
