So, was I close with North Yorkshire?

Man, all this gear is getting so tight these days.

However, I sure am glad to see Deano getting the attention he deserves!

Fox has always owned Shift. Cool
They (Fox) created the brand to be their "hardcore" brand back when freestyle was gaining popularity. Having two brands allowed them to venture out into more radical designs without diluting the Fox head brand or alienating straight-laced customers.
Shit, I should have known that!

Just like why he is wearing Fox Instinct boots and not the new shift ones. The Shift boots and helmet are more designed to be entry level products like the Fox V2 and 180 boots.
Yeah I get that but are the Shift boots and helmet so bad that the riders say 'fuck that, I'll wear the pants but not that shit helmet.' I just don't get the marketing.

BTW Dr Dak has too much money.

Super clean. Absolutely love it. I think Shift is my favorite gear, along with Seven. Going to be switching gear companies soon and Shift is at the forefront.

Great video package as well.

The SHIFT brand only sells entry-level boots and helmets. Pro Riders usually market the top-level gear. That is why you won`t see them wear it.
Furthermore, sales numbers for Shift are most likely not big enough for FOX to divert resources into developing different top-level protection apart from the Instinct and V3 as Protective devices usually require a lot more R&D expenditures, etc. Thus, they can better use economies of scale. Looking at the entry-level boots from Shift and Fox they are also almost identical

Last time I promise. Why not just put the shift logo on one top line of Fox helmet/boots so the rider can market the brand entirely instead of mixing and matching. Why make it look like shift is the budget brand. Just don't get it.

You guys are totally missing the marketing genius behind 1 rider advertising Fox AND Shift at the same time.

I will say this year carrying 4 gear sets of Fox and 4 gearsets of Shift at all times at my work. Shift has outsold Fox all year, only thing fox sells more of is the Dirtpaw gloves.
