As the title says, I'm selling my 2008 KTM 450 SX-F. I just bought this thing 5 or 6 weeks ago. I already own one KTM, (an '08 144SX), and thought with me being a Vet rider, that adding a big ol' thumper to the stable would be something I'd enjoy. I was wrong. I can ride my 144 much more aggressively and to me, that's more fun.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this bike at all. It's in excellent condition. It has 28.0 hours (hour meter installed before bike was ridden) on it as of right now (19 OCT 08). The suspension has been done (re-sprung and re-valved) by MX Tech and is set-up for an average B rider weighing approximately 160-170lbs. The oil filter is a stainless steel piece, and has a KTM Hard Parts anodized orange oil filter cover in place. The oil has been changed religiously on this bike at approximately every two hours. The air filter has also been cleaned and changed before every ride. The sprockets are stock, and the chain is a Renthal Gold chain. They are in great condition yet. The front tire is stock, and the rear is a Dunlop 756. With only 25 hours on it, the front tire is in great shape as expected, and the rear is showing normal use. Part of the embedded graphics on one shroud is also showing some wear.
Make a serious offer.

$2,750 if you deliver...
So, is my offer accepted???
When does this auction end??
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
I can attest to how clean and well taken care of the bike is though. I know the original owner and Fish. Both are pretty anal about keeping their bikes in tip top shape.
Will you deliver?
Pit Row
I have thought about parting it out on KTM Talk though. I'm afraid I won't make much money doing that though, as I'd be keeping a lot of the parts for myself. Wheels, bars, plastic, all as spare stuff that'll bolt right onto my 144.
It'll be at Monster Mountain this coming Thursday, and who knows which track the next 8 or 9 days. Swing on by and take it for a spin.
