Track is in fantastic shape!

Turnout seems huge to me for a Friday practice. 3 separate groups of big bikes and the track is slam full each time.

Weather is perfect! 80 degrees partly cloudy. Like heaven on earth out here today!

Pretty good turnout for the amateur races!

Four laps is ridiculous. No wonder the sport is dying. SMH.

There's a Debbie downer!

It is usually 5 laps for experts but he is trying to fit in a whole bunch of action in 2 days.

For what it's worth to ya, it is a long layout. I'll clock a lap time for you in a minute. We all had a 20 minute practice session before the races started.

I feel like I'm getting plenty of seat time . . . Granted I did ride practice yesterday. My biggest problem right now is finding a way to make these hands last through tomorrow

Duct tape strips like this. Throw the gloves on and go. Almost no friction on palm. Do it before any blisters pop. Take a second to get used to but your hands will stay on.

33 classes!!. 4 laps may be too many! Lol! May need headlights. 85 9-13? Not needed In addition to 7-11, 12-15, 7-15 beginner, plus the super minis have a 7-12?not needed
A 65 9-12?not needed In addition to 65 7-9 and 65 10- 12?
So there are 3 classes that could be eliminated plus the 5 "future pro" classes and youve got it down to 25 classes. Added 80 minutes back into the schedule leaving room for 1 more 2.5 minute lap for each of the 25 classes, or 2 more laps for some classes, 1 more lap for others, and 0 more for the beginner classes. How ever you want to spread the value.
BUT!! I did just take over $3200 out of the promoters hands. Ah well 4 laps it is. Want ride time? Stay home and practice like so many do these days, or go race hare scrambles like so many do these days.

Dude it works! Put the first big strip on across the palm hole hand all the way around the hand, one trip(tear it tonthe width you want), then tear those narrow strips about 1/4" wide that go between the fingers and go from the palm side all the way around to the top side. They connect to the first wrap around you did. Then the medium width strip from the big palm strip around the heel of the thumb area to keep things from sliding forward. I wrap one on my thumb also where it hits the inside of the grip on the throttle side mainly. Getting it as loose or tight as you want is where the practice comes in, but really your glove is going to hold everything in place so doesnt have to be too tight.

I just about had my hands completely taped up . . . And they announce that the Moto before my +30A/B Moto will be the last one for today. My moto not take place till tomorrow. Moving on to the pro motos, future pro motos, then night racing. Fine by me, more rest for tomorrow.

Moto is not a perfect sport but I work my tail off so I can be out here this weekend and there is no place on Earth I'd rather be. And it looks like there is a bunch of other people that feel the same way I do today. Big gates today, bigger than I have seen at a local race in this area in a long time.

I'll post 450 Moto 1 race results in a couple hours

I hear you loud and clear The Show Goes On sounds like a good turnout. It's definitely the best game in town. Good luck out there! I hope your hard work pays off, your hands hold up, you have a whole boatload of fun man and go out there and get you a win man. Who do you have to deal with Jeremey Durret ( among others I'm sure, )? Reckon that tracks getting pretty rough. Thanks for the Trackside updates that's awesome

I have raced durret, well kinda, he's pretty much in another league than me, lol. He is not here this weekend, I think he got hurt prepping for Loretta's if I remember right

Stiff competition here today, I went 8th out of 10 in +25 expert, lost a great battle with a good buddy of mine, had a blast and didn't crash!

Track is rough!!!!! Rougher than normal with the extra traffic and higher than normal caliber of riders this weekend
