Updates, the bike is currently a bare frame, giving her some tlc so the motor is apart getting some mains and some case matching to the barrel. Fresh plastics and some love on the suspension. Fresh plastics and graphics, also replacing a heap of wearing components like linkage bearings ect after a season of abuse

Nice build bro, Where you source the Dunlop Tyre decals from?

The are rare as hens teeth in Aus. I got some pirelli ones though,.

Thanks dude, I work at a bike shop so I hit up my Dunlop rep up and i got a couple of sets, they are pretty hard to get ahold of though

Couple of small updates. Haven't had much time to start assembling the bike back together. But I have recived my new 2014 crf front master cylinder and CORE braided brake line. also fitted up my new motion pro throttle assembly, new Renthal twinwalls 999 bend, and new black lever for my works connection clutch perch

Growing parts collection, recived mh MX-tech low friction piston band, SKF seal head and a factory connection bladder cap for a bit of bling! Just waiting on my new factory connection spring to show up in the post then I'll tear the shock down and give it a service

Who does the cerakote in aus? And how much was it mate? Awesome job btw. I work in a bike shop and certainly enjoy ordering all my bike parts and getting deals from the reps

Its more work to ride a 125 as fast as you could ride a 250f but it's the most fun I've ever had on a bike. Plus it makes a few faces red when your passing 250fs and 450s on a little 125

That's what I love the hear. I'm looking at getting a 125 just for fun factor and because they're cheap. My 250f has over 70 hours on it at the moment so I'm keen on getting something I can just swap pistons out of.

Yer mate from what I believe its originally a gun coating, jess Forman from all pro racing does the coating, or there's pioneer finishes in morayfeild qld and there's motokote in landsbrough qld, 125 is seriously so fun. I've had 250 2t and 250fs and I don't think I am any faster or slower but I do have way more fun

Updates soon bud, saving for my next lot of parts. Things have been slow as Christmas shopping has been slowing my bike funds down. With the frame I just used elbow grease, steel sos pads for the tight spots, red scotchbright pads and alloy mag wheel cleaner. Came up prettt good. Next time I think I'll get it hydroblasted though

Update time, rebuild using skf, mx tech, xtrig and factory connection parts. Would like to of had some coatings done aswell but on some what of a budget around this time of year

Engine is just about back together. Just waiting on some cerakote so I can put the clutch side back together, engine rebuilt from top to bottom, port matched to barrel, and ground the cases for 144 clearance should I decide to go that parth down the track. Cases were cleaned up with scotchbrite pads and elbow grease. Also replaced the reed petals for the last time, I'm only getting around 4-5 hours out of a set of v-force and then they are chipping the corners off, so if it does it again I'm going to try a boyseen rad valve. Oh and I got more Titanium bolts

Engine cleaned up nice and looks awesome with the titanium. Not too happy with the Vforce either... The reeds are chipped and having a hard time getting to get a good seal so I may give the rad valve a shot too.

Good idea on grinding the case while it's apart. Do you have titanium anywhere else?
