From Vurb Moto number check with AJ Catanzaro. With the brace boing able to move like that it it appears like it wouldnt help to much in a crash, or is that standars?

Looks loose to me. I am not an expert by any means but the lateral movement on that looks excessive.

When I wear a hoody mine rides a bit high. I think I will still wear it . I have grown used to it. I feel almost naked when I forget it!

The strap that comes with them don't fit me. I let mine sit but it is adjusted to sit on my skin. It doesn't slop like that.

Back to the topic, i wear a Leatt but to tell you the truth i'm not 100% sure on how it works in a situation like the photo above.. If he crashed in the position he is in there the idea would be to take the pressure off the neck, which would almost definately break his left collarbone, correct?

Tough to say, if he took a lateral hit there is lots of play in that pic. My son broke his collar bone with his, he took a hit on the top right/front of his helmet.

I'm a fan of speculation.

I speculate that I will wear my Leatt all next season.
I also plan on buying one of them for my kid.

Anyone who doesn't wear all of the protection possibly available will have plenty of time to speculate on that while in the hospital.

2. UFO Reactor Two Evolution Chest Protector

My brother took a slow digger (went head over heals over his handlebars) and broke his clavicle in 3 places, which was quite obviously caused by the leatt. The shock of the fall was concentrated on one of the two small pads that rest directly over the collar bone.

you're 100 % certain that your brother's shoulder hitting the ground had nothing to do with the broken collarbone?

i crashed on a mountain bike and broke my clavicle in 3 places...no leatt brace.

I know that Trey broke his Leatt in that crash in Phoenix. So, without it, what might have happened? That's a speculation I don't want to make.

Considering I saw it happen and the doctor confirmed it when he looked at the break and the leatt, I would say I'm pretty certain. If you talk to anyone in the moto community outside your own backyard, you'll hear more of the same. With that being said, I still wear mine, I just do it in conjunction with a chest protector as to dissipate the shock more even across my shoulders rather than concentrating it onto two pads about 1"x1"
