Hi folks, I'll be joining in the fun with a 95 cr125 thats on the way in a few weeks. I usually like to replace the old carbs in any used bike I buy to start off right. I noticed the stock PJ36's are discontinued. Anyone here using a newer carb in this year 125?

Yes, I would run either a 36mm or 38mm Keihen PWK Airstryker. We run a 38 on our '02 with the HPP motor and it rips..........

Was the 38 a good fit or any adjustment needed?

There are two bodies long & short. You need to find a screw top long body PWK & it should fit just fine. Haven't tried a short one they may fit also. Had you mold the boots a bit but not bad...............

thanks, CPW has awesome customer service, they are custom building me a carb currently. I had a chance to run the bke with the old carb, after cleaning the clogged jets out. The stocker runs fantastic, but of course its discontinued, so getting replacements parts is a hassle. ( some plating missing from slide, some interior wear, etc)

will post up results with the PJ to PWK swap.
