Hi,

Will be attending my first SX next year for the finale in LV.

Obviously a total novice but wondering if anyone could clarify for me:

1, Where to buy the tickets
2. When I should buy them
3. Any suggestions on where to be - mid range cost - don't want to look into the setting sun (if appropriate) !
4. Any other tips

Coming from Australia, I want to be prepared early as I have a lot of other planning to do !

Thanks in advance.

Never been to Vagas and might go myself since Torontos not anymore.

Since you've never been your in for a show! Don't get tickets super low cause you can't see the whole track. Mid height up is key in Toronto. Idk about Vagas tho, anyone?

If you plan on spending the day at the track, make sure you get tickets on the West side of the stadium..

The East side has the sun in their eyes for a long time..

Sections 218-221 imo is the best view for the track. You can see all the lanes, in and out of monster alley and you're night far from the track. The way the stadium is built you can be pretty high up in the 200 sections or low 300 and still feel close. I've lived in Vegas for about 5 years now and been coming to the races long before I moved.

Yeah sit on the tower side mid way up. I think you can by tickets from UNLV. (University of Las Vegas) I would get them soon if you know you are going for sure.

236 low seat is what you seek, sun at your back and easy exit of the stadium after. they run busses to and from the stadium. lines after are horrible (2hrs) where they pick up and drop off varies. if its at hard rock (off strip) your kinda fucked unless you're staying there as there aren't enough available cabs to get everyone back to the strip

If I were to choose LV 2018 I'd go for the Monster Cup in Oct because statistically speaking is highly improbable that the final would be as exciting as this year or even as last year with the rain, I'm talking about 450. LV is always exciting but most probably ET would have already wrapped out the championship 2 to 3 races earlier. 250 is always fun! I'd say wait for the track layout release that should be at some point later this year and see where do you want to be, the stadium gives you a really great view no matter where you're at and you can always count on the big screen too. As a general rule, the more you pay the closer you're so as you're paying several thousands to come from AUS I won't mind to go to Ticketmaster and get a really good packet. Wait until they start selling tickets and have fun!

Sitting closer to the track actually sucks. You can't see shit but one or two sections. My advice is get a ticket up top as the stadium is not that tall. And the tickets are cheaper up top.

Yea it's no more than a 10 minute drive. Last year we stayed at the hard rock and rode the groms from there to the stadium didn't take long at all. Driving will be your best bet.
