Bottom end broken

Is it possible to damage your bottom end because you kick the kickstart before you feel resistance? If that makes sence. I was just curious if after you have found the TDC and you kick from the very top where there is no compression that you could damage the bottom end. Is it quite easy to damage the bottom end by poor kicking technique? Any help would be massively appreciated! Thanks

Not likely.
Damage to the starter is possible, but remote.

The force of you kicking it is less than the motor running at idle. The only thing you might break is the actual gear for the kick lever behind the case.

These guys dont know what they are saying. If you kick the bike AT ALL, it instantly breaks all the bearings in the bottom end and transmission. Thats what the factories dont want you to know, but still force the kickstart conspiracy on all of us.

The only true way to start a dirtbike is to slowly bring it to operating temperature with a heat gun, injecting nitrous oxide into the cylinder, setting the air filter on fire, then turning the rear wheel by pulling on the chain.

Its basic science

Last time I broke my bottom end it was Taco Tuesday and I was hungrier than Rosie O'Donnell at a Weight Watchers convention.
